The Southern Extreme Barrel Racing Association is the brain child of SEBRA Director Tom Smith.

Cowgirls were constantly asking, "When are you going to add barrel racing to SEBRA?"

SEBRA’s Bull Riding has had phenomenal growth during the last three years. The majority of SEBRA Bull Riding  events already included open barrel racing. It only made sense to add Cowgirl’s barrel racing.  Including Cowgirl’s barrel racing in our membership will allow us to offer more exposure and more sales to our existing sponsors such as Wrangler and W-W.  It will also open the door to sponsorships from equine based businesses.

Introducing cowgirls to SEBRA helps to increase our exposure and play a bigger part in broadening the public’s knowledge of Western heritage.

SEBRA bull riding is known for providing outstanding awards for it's members. "We want to be able to offer the same type of awards to our cowgirls without creating any additional costs and burdens on our producers."
